Oh nothing... just stalking members of Quiet Riot...

I'm having a fight with my mind.

It's trying to tell me things that I already know, but I refuse to acknowledge, damn it.

The last few days have been hectic. Last night (this morning technically) I finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I won't give anything away about it... but I hate it. I absolutely hate it. It made me miserable. I love Harry Potter as much as the next fanatic freak... but why, J.K. Rowling? WHYYYY? I cried so much that my eyes have been hurting the entire day. It could also be the lack of sleep...

Today Stefanie and I went to the mall. I was looking around for stuff for the show, and we went into Hot Topic. Stefanie was checking out shoes, and she decided on a pair of dark green converses. She wanted to try them on so she went up to one of the women working there... But off the topic of shoes, the woman says, "Are you guys too young to know who Quiet Riot is?" and of course we said, "No," being the hair band historians we are. Then the woman said, "They were in here a little while ago... one bought pants..." then she went on about how much she loved them. So after Stefanie bought her shoes, we decided to go stalk Quiet Riot. Well, I decided it. We used the assistance of some kid named Skipper (yes, like Barbie's little sister. Stefanie knew him) and another kid whose name I've completely forgotten now. Actually, they didn't help us at all. Useless boys. We eventually found Quiet Riot in a videogame store. Two members: The singer Kevin DuBrow and the bassist Chuck Wright. I refused to go in and say anything. So we eventually left the mall... but while we were in the parking lot, I decided to go back in. They were sitting in the food court so I just went up to them and started talking. I eventully had them sign stuff for Stefanie and I. They asked if we were going to go see the show, and Stefanie said, "No... we're poor." They should have given us free tickets or something. I would have ditched rehearsal for my new BESTFRIENDSFOREVER Quiet Riot. YES. My dream of stalking an 80s hair band has finally been fulfilled! Oh by the way, the singer's use of hairspray is leading to the depletion of the ozone layer. They were really quite friendly... especially the bassist. The singer said something about having dated a girl a girl named Dara... and that he was wearing sunglasses to hide from her. What a way to make a sixteen-year-old girl feel uncomfortable, buddy. But still... friendly people.

Stefanie came with me to rehearsal. It was CRAZY. Crazy, crazy, crazy...

I'm still fighting with my mind.
